Menai Corporation Company Background

Menai Corporation is a privately-held maker of software tools designed to support the development of programs that store data as objects and exchange data over networks, including the Internet. The company was founded in 1991 and released its first product in the Fall of 1994. The company specializes in developing cross-platform computer software.

Menai's Gamelon® libraries provide structured file persistent store facilities for application programs developed on any of eight different desktop computer platforms and five different computer languages. This computer software library provides to programmers many of the significant features of object databases, and it creates platform-independent files that are ideal for peer-to-peer data exchanges on the Internet and intranets.

Our products are used in a wide variety of application programs, including medical records management, data backup and archiving, 3-D graphics rendering, and high-speed data network control.

In addition to software products, Menai offers consulting services and custom programming on multiple computer operating systems and computer languages, including the porting of programs to the popular new Java language.

Menai has occupied its current premises at Menlo Center in Menlo Park, California, since its founding. Menlo Center is located approximately 1 mile North of the Stanford University campus, on El Camino Real at the corner of Santa Cruz Avenue. We occupy suites on the third floor. Please call us to arrange a visit and presentation.
